THE United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) will be represented by Andrea Allen at next month's North Shropshire by-election.
Andrea, who is from Whitchurch, says she is representing the party to 'put her constituents first' and has previously stood as a candidate for Eddisbury, in the 2019 General Election.
Having worked previously as both a teacher and a secretary, Ms Allen currently serves as an elected councillor for Whitchurch Parish Council.
She says she will represent her local area if she were to be elected.
"I am totally committed to North Shropshire," she said.
"If lucky enough to be elected, I would always serve my constituents before my party and myself.
"Our current political class is riddled with sleaze and self-serving politicians, national and local, always willing to put themselves first.
"That’s not me and never will be.
"A vote for me is a vote for real change in an area which is desperately crying out for something new."
