A HOSPITAL near Oswestry is searching for people who could help improve its services.

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen is appealing for patients, carers, and service users to get involved in the Patient Panel Forum.

The forum allows individuals to have their voice heard and take part in collaborative working on a range of projects and activities.

Nicki Bellinger, assistant chief nurse, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for people who use our services and their carers to get involved at RJAH.

“By using experiences, knowledge and ideas, our Patient Panel Forum can bring a new point of view to the planning and delivery of those services.

“Individuals will also have a positive impact on improving and shaping the hospital and supporting the ambition to be the leading centre for high quality, sustainable orthopaedic care, achieving excellence in both experience and outcomes for patients.”

The forum works in collaboration with staff, patients, and local partners to provide a wealth of knowledge.

Nicki added: “We welcome engagement with all our patients and carers from all backgrounds of the community and individuals can help us as little or as much as they please.”
