Located in the popular village of Baschurch, the New Inn is the essence of a traditional village pub that is favoured by both locals and visitors alike.
Recorded as a public house as far back as 1841, the building is steeped in history yet the decor and furnishings are kept tastefully modern and understated, creating a welcoming mix of old and new.
The roaring log burner provides an inviting and warm ambience throughout the colder months while the pleasant beer garden invites guests to sit outside and enjoy their food and drinks on lovely summer days.
Whether meeting for a business lunch, catching up with friends and family for drinks in the bar or a meal in the restaurant, you can be sure of a warm welcome and a great selection of wines, ales and food to choose from.
The building served as a post office as far back as the 16th century and was first granted an alcohol licence by Wrexham Brewery in 1850.
The family run pub has an open plan layout with three distinct areas, the bar area having half tiled hardwood flooring, a real fire, and comfortable rustic style seating.
Dogs, walkers and cyclists are all welcome and real cider stocked in summer.
The pub was taken over by Ellie and Chris Conde last year who have maintained the pub's covered outdoor eating area which is available from Wednesday to Sunday as well as offering four real ale taps, a large selection of gins and a reputation for being a dog friendly establishment.
