CELEBRITIES will be tested to their limits in this year's series of the hit ITV show.

With the most amount of trials in any previous series and a new second camp - 'the Castle Clink' - camp mates in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Will be thinking if they have made the right decision signing on that dotted line.

In the 'Clink' celebrities will have to shower in the dark and sleep on the floor. The stars will be living in a much smaller space. The shower is very primitive and most of their daily lives will be spent in a "cramped" and "claustrophobic" area.

It is described as "not necessarily somewhere where you want to end up."

Olly Nash, executive producer, said: "This year's experience is the toughest."

The celebrities will face 24 trials during their I'm A Celebrity experience and there will be "more or less" a trial every night.

The infamous dunny is still in place and viewers will be pleased to see Kiosk Cledwyn's familiar face; Cledwyn is Kiosk Kev's long lost Welsh cousin and he's back in charge of the Ye Olde Shoppe.

During a tour, the Journal also saw the main camp - with its hammocks, beds and the shower, operated by a pump, is still as feature as well as the I'm A Celeb red phonebox, camp fire and courtyard.

Ollie added: "We wanted to make sure we kept them on their toes, so they don't know what is coming."

All the challenges are set to be done in and around the castle site.

"It is really good to have another go here [at Gwrych Castle]," Tom Gould, creative director, said.

"It is a different canvas we have here. We have explored that more - more variety in the trials."

This year I'm A Celebrity will be aired every evening.

Tom added: "We listened. There will no be no highlight show."
