A BONFIRE in north Shropshire became out of control on Sunday night.
Firefighters from Oswestry and Ellesmere were called to Llynclys at 6.53pm to reports of a fire in the open. They were joined by an operations officer and assisted by counterparts from North Wales.
Crews used two hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze.
They were at the scene until 8.39pm.
