OSWESTRY Cambrian Rotary has welcomed three more new members to the club and to the Rotary family worldwide.

The new members are Livia and Traian Ichim, both originally from Romania now living in Morda, Oswestry.

Livia is a doctor at the Cambrian Medical Centre in Oswestry and Traian is a dentist and owns the Llanfyllin Dental Practice.

The group has also welcomed Jeni Hall from Gobowen, who is currently working in marketing for Wynnstay Agricultural Products but her passion is open water.

A qualified diver, Jeni and regularly gives talks about sea life and conservation; having studied Marine Zoology and volunteered as a Marine Mammal Medic, and hopes to inspire and educate about peoplethe planet and wildlife.

Lead for membership, Mike Lade, said he was pleased to welcome new members.

He said: “Its great to keep attracting new members to join our growing team of people who want to get involved in our community and to have fun with a great group of like-minded people.”

The Oswestry Cambrian Rotary is ready to welcome people from community who want to be 'people of action'.

The group typically meets face-to-face at The Wynnstay Hotel, Church Street, Oswestry on Thursday evenings in the bar at 7.30pm.

Alternatively, new members can join meetings remotely over Zoom.
