GROUPS outside of Oswestry Town Council wishing to put an event on in Cae Glas Park have been given a deadline for applications.
The park saw a return of events this year following the relaxation of restrictions enforced by Covid-19 across 2020 and early 2021, but the council is preparing for a full bill of events in 2022.
A spokesman for the council confirmed that a committee has set a definitive time for any group wishing to use the park.
They said: "The Oswestry Cae Glas Management Group have agreed to implement a deadline of May 1 2022 for any future third party event applications to be held in Cae Glas Park next summer.
"This will enable better promotion of events and provide enough time to gather the necessary paperwork.
"If anyone wishes to hold an event in the Park, please inform the Guildhall office as soon as possible on 01691 680222 or davidclough@oswestry-tc.gov.uk"
