A GOBOWEN man is around £350 worse off after he was caught breaking lockdown in March this year.
Nathan Jones, 20, of Hammonds Place, was fined £220 in his absence at Worcestershire Magistrates Court this week, and was ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £95 in costs.
He was caught outside of Shropshire, which was then in Tier 4, on March 4 this year without a proper reason under the guidelines brought in during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.
A collection order was made to recover the funds.
