Flytipping.
THERE is an increase in fly tipping and littering in the Old Racecourse area. Local residents are regularly picking up rubbish from the verges and car parking areas.
Why would someone drive to here to abandon a mattress when the recycling centre in Oswestry will take for no charge?
Last week there were two old tyres neatly stacked in a gateway. We’ve had full, large rubbish bags presumably thrown at speed from a vehicle, split and spread over an area. Don’t these people have regular refuse collection services?
