The Excellence in Housewares Awards recognises the country's top housewares retailers, products, and suppliers.

This year's awards ceremony was held in the sumptuous surroundings of The Royal Lancaster in London last Wednesday, October 6.

Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net, organisers of the EIH Awards, said: “There are a great many worthy retailer and product winners tonight and, while there is, of course, only one trophy for each category, we salute all of you that have made it to the finals of The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2021.

"We’re here to celebrate your achievements, as shining examples of our wonderful industry.”

Guests were entertained by foodie comedian Jayde Adams, who hosted the presentation of each award at what was the 22nd annual EIH ceremony. In addition to the revelation of the award winners after dinner, the fun-packed night kicked off with a champagne reception.

The post awards party includes the casino, dance floor and photobox, saw industry friends and colleagues are expected to continue partying into the small hours.

For many in attendance it was the first time they had seen each other face-to-face since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Independent Cookshop of the Year category was sponsored by Le Creuset.
