AN AWARD-WINNING holiday cottage company has added two more accolades to its repertoire.

Henlle Hall, based just outside Gobowen, was named the Best in Britain for the second time at Hoseason’s 2021 awards.

The family-run business also received a diamond award in the Heart of England category, which is judged on exceptional quality and outstanding customer care.

Cosmo Lloyd, who owns Henlle Hall with his fiance Keeta Thomas, said: “It’s important for the local economy to continue to invest and recruit.

“Henlle Hall is an hidden gem and with the addition of Tree Tops [lodges] it is totally unique to anywhere else.”

Keeta added: “We are at our happiest when we make dreams come true.

“We are extremely fortunate to have a fabulous, professional, devoted team who ensure our guests have the very best, whether staying for a three-night mini break, a full week of relaxation, or popping in for a delicious meal or cup of coffee in our stunning tetradecagon-shaped restaurant, Henlle Heights, we truly care.”

The lodges have won an award every year since 2012, including The Diamond Award, the Shropshire Business Award and Best in Britain.

Keeta continued: “Winning Best in Britain for a second time is a great accolade and assures our team we are the best, which is thanks to everyone involved – from design, build, housekeeping, to the day-to-day experience we continue to provide excellence.

“Best in Britain says it all and it’s thanks our amazing team and fabulous guests.”

Manager of Henlle Heights, Ellis Griffith, commented: “It is a fantastic achievement to strive through the unprecedented times and win the Best in Britain award for a second time. I am proud to be involved in this wonderful team, you wouldn’t find anywhere else. I look forward to what the future holds.”
