MISTY mornings and seeing your breath in the air will be the order of the day for the next few months.

We are not quite in winter yet and the odd friend from summer continue to buzz around some homes as hardy as ever.

However we really are on the last leg of the year now.

It has been a strange year and for many 2021 will be just like 2020, at least since the onset of the global pandemic.

Certainly our lives have not been marked by traditional milestones like birthdays and, for the most part even Christmas, and instead broken up into segments of various social distancing restrictions and government decrees.

Even now a new chapter of chaos has begun with food shortages in our supermarkets becoming the norm.

It would be understandable to become frustrated at these chain of events.

However we must remember that we are never alone in these struggles and for the most part every one is struggling in their own way.

Thankfully we do have the liberty to walk and enjoy our local area and chat to our friends and neighbours.

These are therapies in their own right and their worth should never be underestimated.

So as the nights draw in early remember none of us are truly alone.
