FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a house blaze in Wrexham, it has been confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just before 7.05am on Tuesday reporting the incident, in Elm Grove Way.
Two crews attended the scene to tackle the fire - which was caused by an unattended candle falling onto a bed.
The incident was declared over at 7.30am, and no injuries resulted from the blaze.
It caused 80 per cent fire damage to the bed and 100 per cent smoke damage to the room of origin - which was a downstairs bedroom.
