THE countdown to Christmas has begun in Oswestry, with Cambrian Rotary Club revealing Santa will visit the town this December.
Santa will also be turning on the Christmas lights on Thursday, November 18 and will take part in the Christmas Parade on December 4.
A spokesman for the club said further details would be revealed next month.
They said: "Great news for all the kids and adults.
"Santa will be on the streets again saying hello to the kids through December as well as being at a number of static sites during the day and weekends.
"Exact dates, routes and areas will be worked out in November.
"Look out for him and a surprise guest at the town's lights switch on on November 18 in Bailey Head, also the Christmas Parade on December 4."
