STAFF, patients and visitors to Gobowen's Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) are being warned to expect a diversion courtesy of roadworks from Monday.
The works, which are expected to last for a month, are being carried out by Severn Trent Water and will begin on Monday, October 11 until Friday, November 12.
The closure will be in Twmpath Lane and RJAH is asking people to make extra time for their journey.
A spokesman said: "Staff, patients and visitors are being made aware of a road closure near to the hospital entrance
"From Monday, October 11, Severn Trent will be carrying out water main renewals along Twmpath Lane and because of this, road closures will be in place.
"The closure will be in between the B5009 and Whittington Road junction, up until Meadowbrook Court (next door to RJAH).
"We advise staff, patients and visitors to allow extra time for their journey to and from the hospital during this time."
