THE HUGE Wrexham sign on Bersham slag heap has been taken down.
Wrexham's version of the iconic Hollywood hills sign appeared in August on the former colliery site.
Mystery initially surrounded who was behind the sign, before it was revealed to be courtesy of Vanarama - the online car leasing firm which sponsors the National Football League.
But the sign has today (Saturday, October 2) been taken down, amid reports that it had been put up for sale for £1,000.
