It’s been a difficult year for the industry but for one week only, curries are top of the menu.

The Palace - Llansantffraid

Indian, Asian and Balti meals are included on the menu at this restaurant at Waterloo House in Llansantffraid which can boast a 4.5 out of five rating.

"Delicious food every time, everything we’ve tried on the menu has been exceptional. Good portion sizes, and delicious flavour," said reviewer 180lucindam.

Tommy 1256 added: "Best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too really friendly helpful staff best buttered chicken and chicken tikka ever definitely going again for sure."

Bengal Spices - Llanymynech

Indian, Balti and Bangladeshi meals have made the border village restaurant a firm favourite with diners with a ranking of 4.5 out of five.

Darren C said: "Stayed in the town overnight and treated ourselves to a takeout. What a treat. Really tasty food, made fresh and just to the spice level I ordered on my main meal. Highlights for us were the Chicken Tikka naan and the Garlic Chilli main. Food ready just when they said and really friendly staff. Recommended.

Marie 3064 added: "Can not fault the food here. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Clean fast service, polite clean staff, who can’t do enough for you."

Red Rose - Oswestry

Indian, Balti and  Asian dishes are served at the Willow Street restaurant with a rating of four stars out of five among diners.

London Tell said: "Excellent takeaway. So good we came back two days later. Their curries are up there with the best. Discard the negative reviews. In May 2021 they were very good."

"We went for a meal here as a group of friends last night and were really impressed with the food and service. Really fresh, tasty and well presented, the staff were lovely and it was great to be able to take our own wine," added zoehV1074HS.

 

Spice Heaven - Whitchurch

The Station Road restaurant has a 4.5 out of five ranking among diners who enjoyed the Indian, Asian and Balti dishes.

"Amazing food, brilliant service. Overall the perfect evening! Friendly, welcoming staff make the evening relaxed," said Tra123vel123.

"Absolutely brilliant restaurant. We love the food and atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Never had a bad experience here, it’s consistently brilliant and a perfect cosy environment to eat the gorgeous food," added Voyager09639965606.

Blue Water - Whitchurch

Indian, Asian, Balti and Bangladeshi meals on the menu have made the Brownlow Street restaurant popular with 4.5 stars out of five.

"Brilliant service and food. Portions are very good and prices very reasonable. Ali and team are always friendly and go the extra mile Thank you team Bluewater," said Mrsevo-Smith.

"Excellent service from Ali and his team, fitted us in for a family gathering last minute and gave us 5 star service all evening, food was great, hot, tasty and perfectly served, the restaurant was clean and made us feel safe for our first meal out post Covid, looking forward to our next meal at Blue Water," added Katiefoxi69.
