A ROTARY club responsible for one of Oswestry’s popular festive events is calling for local businesses and groups to get involved.
Borderland Rotary Club is encouraging those wishing to take part in this year’s Christmas Parade to get in touch.
The event, which is set to take place on Saturday, December 4, is returning after a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jonathan Jones from Borderland hopes it will be the best Christmas Parade yet.
He said: “Let’s make it bigger and better than ever this year, after all, it may be organised by us but it’s made by the people of Oswestry.”
The club is encouraging businesses and groups in the area to register their interest if they wish to be a part of the event.
