OFFICERS in Oswestry say they have arrested two men for an undisclosed incident which required a 'heavy' police presence.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has posted on social media that two men local to Oswestry were arrested around 9pm for an incident close to the Morrisons petrol station in Beatrice Street.
The SNT added that the scene had been sealed off for forensic officers from West Mercia Police to investigate.
"Incident in Beatrice St (sic) this evening which accounts for a heavy police presence," they tweeted.
"Two local men arrested. Scene secured for our forensic services."
