A SPORTS venue in Oswestry is set to host a new forum for armed forces veterans.
The drop-in sessions, called The RV for Brew, Banter and Support, will be held at Oswestry Cricket Club, in Morda Road, every Tuesday from 10am until midday.
A spokesman said they were looking forward to hosting the session.
They added: "We are setting up an armed forces and Veterans Drop In at Oswestry Cricket Club, Morda Road, Oswestry.
"It will be held every Tuesday, from 10am-12pm starting on Tuesday, September 7.
"It will be an all-inclusive set up were like-minded, current and veteran personnel can meet, chat and importantly where needed, access support.
"Free refreshments will be provided.
"We will be joined on Tuesday, September 14 by representatives from Shropshire Council’s Armed Forces Outreach and also from SSAFA and is set up by Veterans for Veterans."
