The football boots worn by David Beckham in the FA Cup final during Man United's treble-winning season and shirts worn by Pelé and George Best could net more than £40,000 after being put up for auction by their Shropshire owner.
Footy fans are being offered the chance to own the 22-year-old boots worn by Beckham when The Red Devils beat Newcastle United 2-0 on May 22, 1999.
The memorable 1998-99 season saw Manchester United clinch the Treble, with the FA Cup triumph at Wembley marking the 10th time the club had lifted the famous trophy.
Beckham’s size 8 ¾ boots were created to his unique specification and feature elastic straps, aluminium studs and are embroidered with "Beckham 7".
They are expected to fetch between £10,000 to £15,000 when they go under the hammer at Hansons Auctioneers next Tuesday (24/8).
A signed United shirt worn by Becks in a Champions League Group Stage match against Greek side Panathinaikos on November 21, 2000 is also set for auction.
The framed shirt - signed ‘"Best wishes David Beckham 7" - has a guide price of £4,000-£6,000.
Memorabilia from two of the game’s other greatest legends are also featured in the sale and include football jerseys worn by George Best and Pelé.
A green Northern Ireland shirt worn by Best in a match against England in 1964 could make up to £12,000.
The Opening Home International Championship match took place at Windsor Park, Belfast, in front of a 58,000-strong crowd.
England won 4-3 but Northern Ireland made an impressive fight back after going 4-0 down.
It was winger Best’s first game against England and third appearance for his country.
A white, round-neck shirt worn by Pelé in the 1970s during an unknown game is expected to make between £6,000-£8,000.
It’s signed "Para Msgr. Louis F. Meyer, your friend, Edson Pele" and was one of the final jerseys worn by Pelé as a player for Brazilian side Santos.
The Brazilian forward - widely regarded as the greatest player of all time - left the club a short time later to join New York Cosmos in the NASL where he finished his career.
David Wilson-Turner, head of sports memorabilia at Hansons Auctioneers, said: “Football memorabilia doesn’t get much better than this.
"Beckham, Pelé and Best are among the most highly regarded footballers the world has ever known.
"They all played for club and country and delighted fans across the world over the course of decades.
“These are very special items to own. They have come to auction from a private Shropshire collector who has decided the time is right to part with them.”
