WELCOME to Bygones and a weekly stroll down memory lane.
We start this week with firemen from Knockin surveying damage from a blaze near their station in 1956.
Moving on we see three gentlemen and one loyal dog enjoying their retirement at Ellesmere House in 1950. I am sure these three had plenty of stories to share.
Next we see members of the Oswestry Girl Guides company in rehearsal in 1956.
Our final picture is a remarkable double wedding in Llanrhaeadr in 1954 when Agnes Della Morris was wed to Mr D. Noseworthy and Joan Brown to Mr F. Telling.
