A SCULPTURE trail in Oswestry town centre has been refreshed after receiving support from the business improvement district (BID) group.
The works at The Griffin Inn in Albion Hill, made by artist Jas Davidson in 2012, have been refurbished by artist Paul Kielty who has added his own creative flair to the sculptures.
Manager of Oswestry BID, Adele Nightingale, is pleased the group is supporting the refurbishment.
She said: “As part of our remit to enhance Oswestry as a place to live and attracting visitors to strengthen our local tourism economy, we are pleased to support this initiative.
“The project builds on existing work, taking them forward with new eye-catching colour schemes and more sustainable materials.”
Once the sculpture trail refurbishment is complete, BID and Oswestry Borderland Tourism intend to promote the trail as a new fun and free in-town attraction.
