WELCOME to Tizer Bygones and your weekly stroll down memory lane.
We have another special batch of pictures for you this week, starting with a group of ladies in traditional Welsh dress at Llanrhaeadr’s British Legion Carnival in 1956.
Next is a shot of two elephants and their keeper during the circus’ visit to Chirk in 1947.
Workmen can be seen laying the railway between Gobowen and Weston Rhyn in 1954 while we close with a very memorable picture of parishioners of St Martins.
The parishioners arranged a fancy dress football match to raise money for the church in 1955.
