The Agent Achievement Awards has celebrated excellence in the travel trade for the past quarter of a century and is regarded as the highest honour in the industry for both individual agents and agencies.
After being postponed in 2020, the 2021 edition will be streamlined to reflect demands on agency resources, with a focus on supplier-voted categories and a small number of individual awards for nominated agents who have excelled not just professionally, but in support of partners, colleagues, customers and their communities.
The glittering AAA ceremony will take place in association with Virgin Atlantic in line with all relevant government guidelines at London’s Park Plaza Westminster hotel on Thursday, September 16.
Lucy Huxley, editor in chief of Travel Weekly, said: “Winning an Agent Achievement Award is the pinnacle of success in the travel trade.
“After postponing last year’s event we felt it was right to celebrate the travel trade as it emerges from the most difficult period in its history, and we look forward to doing that.”
