WELSH rugby union star Dan Biggar will visit Oswestry later this year.

The 31-year-old fly half will come to Shropshire fresh from his second British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa on Sunday, September 5.

Tickets have been selling fast for the chance to meet and have a picture taken with the rugby star, who will also be sharing his top training tips and learn more about the 2021 Lions tour.

In a message posted to the school's Facebook page, Biggar said: "Just a message to say how excited I am to be coming to Oswestry School on September 5, looking forward to be getting to know al the guys, answer some questions, have a look around and just get to meet everyone.

"Hopefully things will be back to a bit or normality then as well so we can interact a bit more and just looking forward to catching up with everyone."
