A THEATRE near Oswestry is set to rock to the sound of laughter next month with a four-act comedy night.
On Saturday, August 28, the Holroyd Theatre at Moreton Hall, will welcome four 'top' acts from the comedy circuit.
The evening is being backed by the Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival and will feature the latest material from Roger Monkhouse, Troy Hawke, Dan Nightingale and Daliso Chaponda.
A spokesman for the Holroyd hoped the event would become a regular fixture.
He said: "We are delighted to announce that in association with Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival, we are bringing top comedy circuit acts to the theatre for the launch night of what we hope will become a regular fixture in our calendar, our very own comedy night.
"Tickets are available for adults aged 18-plus who are not easily offended."
