TNS have completed their fourth signing of the summer with the addition of Ashley Baker.
The 24-year-old defender joins from English League side Newport County having come through the academy at Cardiff City.
Baker enjoyed a spell at Sheffield Wednesday and played for the Owls in the Steel city derby against Sheffield United in the English Championship
The Bridgend-born player joined the Gwent club in 2020 before making the switch to Park Hall.
Head coach, Anthony Limbrick, said: “We are really pleased with the addition of Ash to the squad here at TNS.
"He comes with a good pedigree, having played at a decent level in the Football League. His versatility will also be a positive, with him being able to play at full-back and in midfield.”
Meanwhile Gary Brabin, the club’s sporting director, added: “Ash is a great character with a big heart, who was playing championship football two years ago, and was well thought of in the Welsh national system.
"He’s still only 24, and after a difficult time in the last twelve months, will be looking to settle down at The New Saints and get back to his best form and start enjoying his football again.”
