STAFF at an Oswestry-based manufacturing company will take on a one-day, 100-mile bike-ride challenge to raise funds for three charities close to their hearts.
For the fourth year in a row, staff at JFC Manufacturing will take on the challenge by riding along the north-west Wales coastal line, which includes a 14km climb.
The chosen charities this year include the Riding for Disabled (RDA), Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and the DPJ Foundation (DPJ).
Kate Jones, RABI regional manager, is grateful the company will be supporting her charity.
She said: “We are delighted JFC Agri are supporting RABI with their fourth annual charity cycling challenge.
“The team of cyclists continue to raise awareness of our farming charity whilst raising vital funds to support farming people of all ages through difficult and uncertain times.
“We wish everyone the very best of luck for August 21 and hope the T2O challenge is a huge success.”
In previous years, the cyclists have embraced the breath-taking views of the west coast of Ireland, endured late night ferry crossings, the unforgiving hills of the Snowdonia National Park
This year’s ride will take place on Saturday, August 21.
Last year the £10,000 mark was made, and this year the team will attempt to raise that target.
