A white trig point near a well-known mid Wales monument has been smeared in tomato sauce.
The incident is believed to have happened on Friday evening (July 2).
Volunteers with the Save Rodney's Pillar campaign said: "If you were up at Rodney’s Pillar last night, maybe you would like to go back & clean up your mess even an article of clothing! This is unacceptable!"

Rodney’s Pillar is located in the Breidden Hills near Criggion and is a popular beauty spot for thousands of people who enjoy the vast views of the Severn plain.
The Save Rodeny's Pillar campaign group has been set up to raise up to £200,000 for urgent repair work in order to save the landmark from deteriorating further after cracks appeared in the 54ft monument.
The pillar has been cordoned off with a fence to visitors after Natural Resources Wales deemed it unsafe
