BURNING woodchip was the reason behind a fire callout near Oswestry on Monday night.
The incident was reported at around 9.15pm, at a barn in Morton.
Two crews, from Oswestry and Baschurch were dispatched to the fire, including the water carrier and an operations officer.
The fire involved a feeder into woodchip area of a barn.
Crews inspected and assisted the owner in locating burnt woodchip and damped it down.
Thermal imaging cameras were also used to monitor the ambient temperatures.
The crews were on the scene until 9.51pm.
