FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Kronospan in Chirk following reports of a blaze, it has been confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after 6.30am on Monday reporting the incident.
Two crews from Wrexham, two from Deeside, one from Llangollen and one from Chirk attended the scene.
A spokesman for the service told the Leader the blaze affected the site's extraction system and the cause is not yet known.
Nobody sustained any injures and crews left the site at around 10am, the spokesman said.
