RESIDENTS are being urged to remain vigilant following reports of cold callers in Chirk.
Officers from the North Wales Police Community Eastern Safety team confirmed they received reports of people acting suspiciously in the area.
Cold callers are knocking on doors asking people if they want to sell their car.
This tactic is used for distraction burglaries, police confirm.
A spokesman said: "Please report anyone acting suspiciously.
"Luckily this incident was reported to us on the 101."
