Llanymynech Carnival in 1979 looks memorable with its master of ceremony certainly putting in the effort. Are you that master? Do you recognise anyone in the picture?
We also have a wonderful picture of children from Oswestry receiving their cycling proficiency certificates in 1979. Did you pass that year?
If Oswestry walls could talk then they would have many stories to tell.
Here we have excavation work on the wall in 1970, then the town’s writing club making notes at the Bell Inn.
