The New Saints owner Mike Harris has also remained tight-lipped over his next choice for the Park Hall hot-seat, declining to comment on the reports that Coleman was one of the candidates.
It is believed that Saints are currently at the stage of finalising a shortlist of candidates, with Harris previously stating he had been impressed with the standard of applicant.
