THE A483 is closed in Llynclys this afternoon after a one vehicle collision.
West Mercia Police have closed the road at Llynclys Hall Farm, between the Llynclys and Morda turn off which will effect drivers travelling from Oswestry to Powys and vice versa.
Officers are asking motorists to seek an alternative route.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters were called to help free a person trapped in the collision after the vehicle went into a field.
A spokesman said it was a "road traffic collision involving one vehicle which had come to rest in a field".
Four fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were the land ambulance service and the Police.
The stop message was received just before 4pm.
