According to the most recent police.uk data collected from West Mercia Police, more than 1,000 crimes were reported to the force in Shropshire during the month.
The crime map shows every individual reported crime and the location in which it occurred during January 2021.
In Oswestry Central, 79 crimes were reported to police, with 29 being categorised as violence and sexual assault, and 17 as shoplifting.

In Oswestry Rural North, 32 crimes were reported including 17 violence and sexual assault and six shoplifting.
In Oswestry Rural South there were also 32 crimes reported, including 17 violence and sexual assault, according to Police.uk
