ROAD users across North Wales and Shropshire have been given a boost following confirmation that repairs to a viaduct have been completed two days early.
The works on the Ceiriog Valley Viaduct – which is between the Gledrid and Halton roundabouts on the A5/4383 – were not expected to have been completed until Monday, March 1.
However, a Welsh Government official said the works had been completed.
They said: "Great news.
"The A5 River Ceiriog Viaduct Works have been completed two days ahead of schedule thanks to the hard work of all those involved.
"Thank you for your patience during the works."
