A WOMAN whose car collided with a house died of facial and head injuries, an inquest heard.

Adrianna Dereszewicz, 36, of Cherry Drive in Ellesmere, died in hospital on Friday, February 5 following the collision which occurred on the evening of Wednesday, February 3 on the A539 in Overton.

An inquest opening held at County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (February 22) into her death heard that for "reasons unknown", Ms Dereszewicz's vehicle, a Vauxhall Zafira, left the road on a "sweeping right-hand bend" before colliding with a house.

She was airlifted to hospital in Stoke, but sadly died of her injuries two days later.

A post-mortem examination into Ms Dereszewicz's death heard that the administration assistant died of a head injury.

A full inquest into her death has been adjourned pending the outcome of a North Wales Police investigation into the cause of the collision.
