POLICE are appealing for information after a number of items of jewellery, including a wedding ring and diamond earrings, were stolen in a North Yorkshire burglary.

North Yorkshire officers are investigating after a number of sentimental items of jewellery were stolen in a burglary on Harrogate’s Kirkstone Road on Wednesday, February 17.

It happened sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm when the offender broke into a home through a back window and stole items including:

• A gold wedding ring

• A gold engagement ring with platinum diamonds

• A full platinum chain necklace with a platinum pendant

• Four 22 carat gold chain necklaces

• Two sets of diamond earrings, one small and one large

• A gold bangle bracelet with ruby coloured gems

• A burgundy female Armani watch with a leather strap

• A silver coloured metal female watch

• A set of white gold flower stud earrings

• Two sets of 22 carat gold drop earrings

• Various other sets of Pandora and silver earrings

• A projector clock light

Police are urging anyone with information, whether it is someone acting suspiciously in the area or discarded items around the vicinity of Kirkstone Road, to come forward.

The public is also being urged to check CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell camera footage that may have captured the incident.
