A PRIVATE investigator's report into decisions taken by Oswestry Rural Parish Council over Morda and Sweeney Village Hall will be discussed in private at next week's meeting.

The report, which was referred to police as part of the January meeting, was compiled by private investigator Paul Wiseman, and raises issues with how councillors voted to put £92,000 towards redevelopment.

Councillors will discuss any updates received over the report, and any subsequent actions, away from the press and public, with financial information received from Rhydycroesau Village Hall and Morda and Sweeney Village Hall also being discussed privately.

The meeting, which is over Zoom, starts at 7pm on Tuesday, February 23.

Other items on the agenda include a response to recent flooding around Morda, whether action should be taken on mud being left on roads, and to consider and approve the installation of boundary fencing/trees around land at Trefarclawdd cemetery.

There is also an item on road safety and a number of planning items to consider.
