An acclaimed restaurant near Machynlleth has retained its Michelin star in the 2021 guide.
Ynyshir, one of the UK's most remote Michelin-stared restaurants, is one of only five in Wales to have been given the accolade.
Michelin inspectors said the Eglwysfach restaurant was worth a stop for its high quality cooking, adding that it is one of their most delightful places.
The Michelin guide said: "Chef Gareth Ward is truly passionate about meat, handling it with knowledge and reverence; he buys whole Welsh Wagyu beef and matures it himself – sometimes for over 200 days.
"His multi-course set menus are served as a series of vibrant mouthfuls which really pack a punch and, while ingredients are mainly Welsh, dishes feature an array of Asian flavours.
"The chefs deliver the dishes themselves, explaining both the ingredients and how they were prepared."
