ARRIVA will be running reduced bus services in Oswestry from this weekend in line with the national lockdown measures in England.
Changes for services to and from Oswestry will be in place from Saturday, January 16.
It will mean less frequent journeys for certain routes, with one route from Oswestry to Welshampton suspended.
Simon Mathieson, area managing director for Arriva, said the company remains committed to operating vital services for residents across the area.
He said: “We are proud to be an integral part of our communities and know that our services are essential to many people, including key workers who we all rely on so much.
“We are committed to running vital services so essential journeys can be made, key workers can get to and from work, and school children of key workers can get into educational settings.
“We have worked hard to design timetables that will cover these needs and continually monitor our service levels in line with demand.
“Wherever we can, we will adapt our services to meet demand and customer feedback. Please send us any feedback you have via one of our communications channels which can be found at arrivabus.co.uk/help/contact-us’.”
Social distancing measures remain in place on all buses, which will also run with reduced capacity.
Seats within two metres of the driver are taped off, however wheelchair spaces will always remain available.
