Funds raised at a Christmas event in Ellesmere are set to be split between three local charities.
Harrison’s Fund, Bob’s Fund and Ellesmere Primary School will all receive their share of £600 after it was raised through a popular Santa’s Sleigh event held in the town.
With the usual sleigh unable to go about its way this year, Kerry and Tracy Rowlands – who were behind the popular Dily the Dinosaur’s trips around town during the lockdown – organised their own Christmas sleigh tour of the town last month which proved with residents, young and old alike.
In doing so, the money was raised to be split between the local charities.
Kerry said the pair are very grateful to everyone who donated money to the cause and supported the sleigh event.
He said: “We would like to thank everyone in Ellesmere who donated to these brilliant causes.”
