WINTER is well and truly here but some seem to suit the snow more than others.
County Times Camera Club member Nita Ashworth captured a simply stunning picture of pure-bred Spanish stallion Fernando galloping through the snow at a field in Abercigar.
Nita is a Spanish horse enthusiast and took the picture of Fernando for his owner, Elizabeth Turton.
Nita is a former Spanish horse breeder herself and owned them for the past 20 years and has now turned her passion for horses to photography.
The photograph – reminiscent from a scene from the classic book ‘ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ – captures the snow which fell across mid Wales.
