A PERSON was rescued from a road traffic collision in Oswestry shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve.
Just before 12am today Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called to a collision on the B5069 Gobowen Road in Oswestry.
Two appliances were sent from Oswestry and and Wellington, including the Rescue Tender and an operations officer.
A spokesman for he fire service said the trapped casualty was rescued using a Holmatro hydraulic cutter.
