A 25-YEAR-old woman has died and a man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
The death of the woman was reported to North Wales Police on December 29 at the Crown Hotel in Pwllheli.
The death is currently being treated as suspicious and a 36-year-old man, from the local area, has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
Detective Chief Superintendent Gareth Evans said: “Any untimely death is tragic and our thoughts and sympathies are with the family of the young lady, who are being supported by officers.
"There is nothing the local community in Pwllheli needs to be worried about but if anyone has any information they can give us to help with the inquiry then please call us."
