THERE will no roadworks taking place in Wrexham over the Christmas period.
A spokesperson for Wrexham Council, said: "You’ll all be pleased to know that once again we will be banning roadworks in and around the town centre until January, 4 2021 to help the traffic flow freely during the busy Christmas period.
"The plans do allow for emergency works only to take place if necessary."
Cllr David A Bithell, lead member for environment and transport, added: "With many people travelling home for Christmas and into the town centre for Christmas shopping it’s particularly important this year that we keep the roads as free from roadworks as possible."
