FIREFIGHTERS from Ellesmere tackled a chimney fire in the town on Wednesday evening.
The fire was reported at 5.42pm, on Wednesday, December 9, at an address in Beech Grove.
The fire involved an open fire grate in domestic property.
One crew was dispatched from Ellesmere, who used chimney rods, a short extension ladder, a Stirrup pump and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the blaze.
The crew was on the scene for around an hour.
