PUPULS at a Hereford primary school have been told they must self-isolate for two weeks after a positive coronavirus case was confirmed.

Marlbrook Primary School in Redhill said there had been a Covid-19 case in one of it's year 6 classes, meaning the pupils in the year must now self-isolate for 14 days.

Tracey Kneale, headteacher at the school which has around 600 pupils, said in a letter to parents on Friday: "We have been made aware that we have a confirmed positive case of coronavirus (Covid-19) in one of our year 6 classes at Marlbrook School.

"A pupil has tested positive yesterday."
